It has been a thrilling week, with Letter to Pessoa winning the NSW Premier’s Literary Awards for New Writing which is generously sponsored by UTS.

The award was presented to me by Premier Gladys Berejiklian on Monday at the State Library.  In the spirit of heteronyms, Peter Boyle’s Ghostspeaking won the Kenneth Slessor Poetry Prize. Maxine Beneba Clarke’s The Hate Race won the Multicultural Award.
